Delisa Abraham, and I am a single parent to Faith Abraham, who is on the neurodivergent spectrum. I am a veteran and served for 14 years and did two tours. I graduated with a degree in Humanities and did a post-graduate degree in Research. Delisa, a proud mom to Faith and Sparkle and the person behind the business that is Faith & Sparkle’s World. I knew my daughter, Faith would be a special child before she was born and when her teachers told me they believed she may be on the autism spectrum I was able to put a name to her exceptionality. Raising a neurodiverse child has presented me with some unique challenges, many of them wonderful, like when Faith told me she wanted to write books and share kindness with others. Leaning into this and learning how to self-publish “Doctor Faith” has led our family down a wonderful path of empowering other children and parents and I wouldn’t change it for the world! I am happy to now help Faith empower others by using my extensive experience as a Military leadership trainer to work with parents and educators to cultivate confidence in themselves and the children in their care.
